Yesterday people asked what the tiny bits were on my desk on WOYWW. They were the pill bottles I made. I used the pill bottle stamps from the AI set. I colored them then I did one of my favorite things. I covered them with 3D Crystal Lacquer. After they dried I cut them out. Gave some nice dimensions to the bottles.
Here's a closer view:
Thanks so much for stopping by. I appreciate any comments you want to leave.
Have a good day!
PS. My BFF April made a card with the same stamp. You can see her card on her blog. I'm really digging that die she used.....might be another one I have to get. I need more die storage!!! LOL
WOYWW. I missed last week. I have not had any time to play at my craft desk. And it's a mess!!! First if you don't know -- What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday - Our host Julia brings us together every week - find out more there at Julia's blog. It's just a great time to go snooping at other's messes and creative juices....
Here's my mess!!!
And yes my floor is getting even worse - not better - and no I'm not showing it yet. But I will before too long!!! I have to have the redeeming after picture of a cleaned floor too!
WOYWW. That's right it's - What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday. Julia brings us together every week - find out more there at Julia's blog. I hope everyone is having a great week. I've done nothing the last couple days so I all have on my desk is a mess and the card I posted on Saturday.
So that's it for me this week. And yes still no picture of the floor. Maybe once I clean it I'll show you a before and after. 😉
Art Impression Challenge 181 - Add a Brad. I love Art Impression stamps, and this new stamp I found at Michael's is no exception. I added flowers and brads to two of the girls hats to make they really big and stand out. Here's my card for the challenge:
The image comes from the stamp set New Hampton ART IMPRESSIONS RUBBER STAMP clear cling set GOT STYLE. The saying for the card was from anther AI set - Dare to be Fabulous. I thought how perfect with the BIG accessorized hats. :)
Then lightly sprinkle some perfect pearls that blend with your colors.
Lastly you crinkle up a piece of tissue paper and then lay it on top & pat down - I used my brayer.
The let it dry.
I couldn't get a picture without a glare - but this is the end result. My tissue paper was too big - but my first try I made it too small! So I figured it was easier to cut off the excess after it dried! I made this with a 8.5 x 11 piece of acetate so I could cut it into several backgrounds.
