Get well cards

I had a friend at work ask for some get well cards. Here's a few I was playing with. The first two are doing using a stamp set from Fun Stampers Journey.

I stamped it using my Misti tool. After I colored the dogs I was able to restamp and sharpen the image since the stamp was still on the Misti. 

Also I accidently made a black mark on the card with the dog I colored dark grey. So I decided to punch out a little tag to put in the corner. My oops turned out to add a little extra dimension to the card.

SU Sprinkles of Life Cards

Here's a couple of cards I made last night with my new Stampin' Up Stamp Set - Sprinkles of Life and Stampin' Up punch Tree Builder .

Clear Stamp Storage

I have tried several different ideas on storing my clear stamps, but I think I finally found the one I really like!  EZBinder from Crafter's Companion.  There are two sizes, the full size and mini.  I like them both, but here's an example of the full size and how I use it.

The binder has a clear overlay so you can add a cover on the front, side, and or back.  I haven't done that yet - but will when I decide how I'm going to categorize all my stamps.  I thinking Holidays, Special Occasions, Sentiments, Funny Sayings, etc.

 

The pages are 8 1/2 by 11.  So I just take a plain what page and use my corner rounded on the edges.  Then I mark the holes and use a hole punch.  Then I ready to start stamping.

 

I take my stamps, and stamp them on the paper.  After I clean my stamp I put it on the  EZMount Stamp Storage Panel.  When I'm done with this step I have all images on my paper and the corresponding stamp on the panel.

 

 

Then I take adhesive and tape the page of stamped images to the front side of the panel.  Then my stamps are on the back.  Makes it easy to see and read the stamp image and find the corresponding stamp.  I still have more stamping to do, but will be very excited when I'm all done!

 

Here's a picture of the panels.  Crafter's Companion runs sales often, but even if not on sale, the prices aren't bad.  :)

Spice Rack to Organize buttons & brads

A decided a great way to organize my buttons, brads, and googly eyes was to put them in a spice rack.  It works perfect.  See what you think:

I'm working on organizing my scrap room so I can actually accomplish something. I'm attacking this in small steps.  First my embossing folders.

I have organized my embossing folders by using the organizer by Darice.

 

It zips all the way around so everything will stay inside:

 

I wrapped ribbons around each folder to make them easy to take out.

 

 

 

 

 

 

My First Scrap Blog

Hi!  I'm new to this but I want to give it a try.  I love to share scrapbooking and card making ideas.  I'll post a tour of my work room later.  Just getting this started.  I'm welcome to any ideas you all have!
